The first project will be released to everyone on this intake on Monday October 27th 2025.

Although I release a project each week, you can absolutely follow at your own pace! There'll almost certainly be weeks when life gets in the way, and so you just pick up where you left off the following week (or as soon as you can). 

Sketch Awesome is a year-long program so it has an end - which means you'll be able to easily catch up at some point.

Every Sketch Awesome project has a BIG instructional element to it. I don't do a great job of making this clear in the video above but it's absolutely central to the course as a whole!

Sketch Awesome can be followed by relative beginners to drawing and painting.

If you purchase Sketch Awesome using the monthly installment option, you'll be asked if you want to add a Sketching Journal to your order during checkout. You MUST add it to your order there and then to be guaranteed to get a journal.

If you don't add a Sketching Journal to your order, you won't be able to purchase it at a later date.

If you're not offered a Sketching Journal when you checkout, it's because we've sold out. But there are other options available from art stores and Amazon and you'll see the recommendations on the materials page. 

We have a limited number of sketching journals available on a first-come-first-serve basis. 

You'll be asked if you want to add a sketching journal to your order immediately after you purchase Sketch Awesome. If you're not offered this, it's because we've sold out.

I'll put a notice on this page as soon as I can if we sell out of sketching journals. 

We're sending all sketching journals via courier for this intake so they should arrive in good time.

You'll receive an update email from me about 10 days before the course starts and you'll be able to reply to that email if you haven't had your sketching journals. That will give us time to look into things and resend by express delivery if needs be., 

Yes and no. If you cancel part way through the year, you'll lose access to Sketch Awesome within your account on the website.

However, you're able to download projects before you cancel in order to keep them for later viewing.

Bear in mind that you'll need something to store the videos on (such as a hard drive or cloud service) and you'll need to allow some time to download everything before cancelling.

Yes, of course! You have 30 days to try the first project and if you don't love it, you can ask for a full refund.

This is 30 days AFTER the course starts - not when you make payment.

What about Sketching Journals?

We also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on journals so long as they are unused and in saleable condition. However, please be aware that if you order from outside the UK, the cost of return shipping may be almost as much as the refund you get.   

If you purchase the course upfront with the two free sketching journals, and then change your mind, you will need to return the journals unused. Alternatively, we can deduct the cost of the journals from your refund.
